Web2py was created by Massimo Di Pierro, a professor of computer science at DePaul University, as his attempt to build a Python-based Web framework that was easy to use as well as powerful.

We’ll need HTTPS enabled as Web2Py will not allow remote administrator login without it. Next, we’ll install the packages we’ll need to run Web2Py with Python 3.
