Three Proventil HFA and three Ventolin HFA MDIs were stored at room temperature and served as controls while three of each product were placed in the trunk of a vehicle in Tucson, Arizona.

The leak rates for the Proventil HFA test and control MDIs were similar at the start of testing and at one month, but test MDIs exhibited increased propellant loss at three and six months.
