Months after a school bus driver hit a young student and school aide, new dash cam footage shows a video from inside that bus. The lawsuit is filed on behalf of Cynthia Davis, the guardian of the 8-year-old boy who suffered a broken femur.

Boston Mayor Michelle Wu has already called for an independent investigation into Transdev, Boston Public Schools' troubled bus operator.

The crash left the boy, who has a diagnosis of autism, with a fractured femur that required two months of in-patient hospital and rehabilitation care, and multiple surgeries, according to the complaint.
