Parlick, the iconic cone-shaped fell nestled in the Forest of Bowland, is perfectly placed to catch the sunrise. A little bit of effort is required to get up this fell, but it’s well worth it.

An air ambulance crew was called to Parlick Fell in Chipping at around midday on Thursday where a paraglider had crashed. The man, in his 40s, was suffering with leg and spinal injuries.
