Apple has long partnered with Sony to sell its PlayStation controllers, which can pair with Apple devices, and they're getting a big quality-of-life update later in 2025 — multiple device pairing.

You can use your PS5 controller with many different devices, but you have to manually pair it each time. With an upcoming update, you can stay paired to up to four devices at once, so you can switch quickly between all of them.

Sony is reportedly releasing a new PS5 controller in 2026 with a huge upgrade on the current standard PS5 DualSense.
