Windows 11 Notepad's right-click menu is getting a new clutter-free UI that looks a lot like the menu from File Explorer.
To prevent Notepad from opening old files at startup, open Notepad and select the ‘Settings’ gear icon. Navigate to When Notepad starts, then select Open new window.
We've already seen the Windows Security, Narrator, and Notepad icons change. Now the top-level user folders for Desktop, Documents, Downloads, and Pictures have been given a more distinct look.
