The Mini dish's router is built into the hardware, making the whole setup easier to transport. However, the built-in router supports a wireless range of 150 feet and is limited to Wi-Fi 5.

Dubbed the Asus ZenWiFi AX Mini (XD4), it's a three-piece mesh router that still supports Wi-Fi 6 -- and, available now at $300, it's a bit easier to afford.

Both systems support true 8K streaming and Wi-Fi 6, with data throughput of 1800 Mbps. ASUS says that 1800 Mbps is up to 1.4x faster than Wi-Fi 5 routers.

To enable a business-friendly network environment, the Orbi Pro WiFi 6 Mini has four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports in each satellite unit, plus three LAN ports and a WAN port in the main router unit.
