Associated Press. MEXICO CITY — At least 16 migrants from Venezuela and Haiti died early Friday in a bus crash in southern Mexico, authorities said.
The accident occurred near Tepic, the state capital. Local media outlets reported that the bus had departed Mexico City and was bound for the border city of Tijuana.
More than 50 people were travelling on the bus on Mexico's Miahuatlan-Coixtlahuaca highway when it collided with a trailer in the early hours of the morning.
