Grunitz confirmed that the second model to use VW’s MEB Entry architecture, after the ID2 hatchback, will be an SUV variant. It will be shown in concept form in Munich in September 2025.

It’ll achieve this through a variety of means, not least a simplified platform called MEB Entry, but should also prove profitable – a crucial aspect for the survival of VW in the electrified age.
