Hawaii is mourning the loss of an iconic local surf photographer, but his loved ones are taking comfort in seeing some of his last moments captured on camera.

Larry is survived by his wife of 54 years, Janet Kujawinski Hanes; one daughter ... Lynne Lanning (Michael); one great-grandson, Oliver Luke Lanning; and many nieces and nephews.
