LEON, Iowa (AP) -- A West Des Moines man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a deaf woman. Kalen Joseph Lively, 18, was arrested Thursday night, police said.

The date was arranged through the online dating service Tinder. Boswell grew up in Leon, Iowa, a community of 2,000 about an hour’s drive south of Des Moines, just north of the Missouri state line.
