Recognizing its potential as a cultural asset, a small but mighty group of community members and art lovers formed Jester Artspace to lobby for the farmhouse’s renovation and preservation.

Jester Artspace opened in Brandywine Hundred on Oct. 5, 2024. The space includes a gallery and a classroom. The project is the result of community action on a historic building.
