Jerry Grayson, who lives in Melbourne but is originally from Arundel, Sussex, set himself the task of tracking down every aircraft he ever flew as part of Royal Navy rescue missions during the 1970s.

Sgt. Jerry Grayson died Friday of glioblastoma, a type of brain cancer. It was the Saturday Labor Day weekend and Grayson was headed to work when he felt the first symptom.
