Two new babies born at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium may be tiny, but they bring big hopes for one of the most endangered species on the planet.
The turtles that hatched Nov. 1 and Nov. 3 were the first in the United States in five years, and the first-ever hatchlings at an “indoor zoological environment,” the zoo said in a news release.
