Huawei Technologies plans to begin mass shipments of its advanced 910C artificial intelligence chip to Chinese customers as early as next month, two people familiar with the matter said.

U.S. export controls on Nvidia's AI chip sales to China will boost its rising domestic AI chipmakers such as Huawei, semiconductor analysts say.

The release later this year is the latest maneuver between China and the U.S. as they try to control the flow of powerful AI chips.
