Feb. 10 (UPI) --Emergency responders in Colorado came together to conduct an unusual rescue when a horse was found with the back half of its body stuck in a septic tank.

The horse’s leg was trapped in the tank. ACFR, UF’s Animal Technical Rescue Branch, ASO, and a veterinarian helped safely remove the horse from the hole. The horse was euthanized.
