On watching Heer Ranjha presented by Thespianz Theatre in collaboration with the PACC in Karachi, the thought that flashed across my mind was loyalty to Waris Shah’s version of the epic tale.

LAHORE, Dec 24: A traditional Heer-Ranjha tale will end at the death of the duo. A Rawalpindi-based folk theatre group, however, ends the folktale at the happy union of Heer and Ranjha.
