Bill Belichick, with six Super Bowl titles to his name, casually suggested maybe the name of the Lombardi Trophy should change to recognize Tom Brady.

Bill Belichick has caused some controversy after claiming that the Super Bowl trophy should be re-named and called the Tom Brady trophy.

Belichick teamed up with Brady to win six Super Bowls during their time together, before Brady departed for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he immediately won another title. Nobody is more familiar with the Lombardi Trophy than Brady, which led to Belichick suggesting that the name of the trophy should be changed to the Brady Trophy.

On a podcast, Bill Belichick suggested the Super Bowl trophy should be named after seven-time champion Tom Brady, not Vince Lombardi:
