Grand Theft Auto 6 could generate more than $1 billion from pre-orders alone, according to research firm DFC Intelligence, which has predicted it will be by far the biggest launch of 2025 in all of entertainment.

Grand Theft Auto fans can rejoice, as Take-Two has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto 6 is still on track to launch in Fall 2025, despite the ever-present threat of a delay.

Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said in a recent interview with IGN that PC has become a "much more" important part of the gaming ecosphere than it was in the past—one that generates a significant portion of sales for multiplatform games.
