Toyota is planning more GR Sport models for the U.S. market. The 2026 Toyota RAV4 is the first GR Sport trim that will be sold here, and it's based on the 320-hp plug-in hybrid version.

Toyota's GR series engines may not be as legendary as, say, the 2JZ, but this reliable motor and its variants have powered popular Toyotas for decades.
