Gaucrete is a mix of cow dung and other naturally occurring material like limestone. According to Malik, gaucrete is not just used to make bricks but also the material that cements them together.

A Rohtak-based entrepreneur and three teachers of mechanical engineering have got a patent from the Centre for “Gaucrete”, an eco-friendly composite made of cow dung, clay and hydrated lime.
