Samsung just announced its new budget phones that are more affordable than Apple’s new iPhone 16e, and they pack more cameras, too.

Samsung has announced three new mid-range phones: the Galaxy A56, A36, and A26. All 3 phones have 6.7-inch displays with 120Hz refresh rates, 6 OS updates, AI features, and more. The Galaxy A56 will come to the US, but we've yet to get a clear release date. The two other phones will land by the end of the month.

We know that the Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26 are in the pipeline — but Samsung just confirmed that on its Chilean service website.

Samsung has launched the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G in a choice of 4GB/128GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB. The 4GB RAM variant is priced at Rs 12,499, the 6GB at Rs 13,999, and the 8GB at Rs 15,499. The Galaxy M16 5G will available starting 5 th March. The Galaxy M06 5G will go on sale two days later, from 7 th March.

Samsung says the A36 and A56 have a larger vapor chamber cooling system for better heat dissipation during intense processing activities like gaming, and that this system is nearly the same size as last year's Galaxy S24+. They also support 45-watt fast charging, which should get you up to 70 percent in 30 minutes.

Samsung expects to ship more than a million units of its A series phones to Australia this year which will start at under $500.
