I ended up needing to grab Gimp-2.0 (the Perl module) from ftp and install it manually. Here's a general template I use for Perl-Fu scripts. It's a modified version of the tutorial template.

All I have left to do now is figure out how to do image scaling in Gimp Script-Fu, and my image processing scripts will be all done. Thanks for your help. This is going to be a huge time saver.
