The NT government has signed a six-month contract with private global security firm G4S to manage prisoner transfers in Darwin. G4S has been involved in a series of scandals in Australia and overseas.

“Anywhere in Amman, where a foreign embassy has outsourced their security, you can be certain that G4S is the company they have come to,” said Ashraf Abul-Hajj, the Managing Director of G4S in Jordan.
