June’s full moon, known as a “strawberry moon,” may appear reddish because of its low position on the Southern Horizon.

The moon will appear full for about three days, from June 10 through the morning of June 12, according to NASA.

This month's full "Strawberry Moon" graces the night sky on June 11, putting on a spectacular show as the fully-lit disk of Earth's natural satellite rides low over the southeastern horizon.
