There's a relatively unknown but very effective program in the Valley that's helping countless people who are struggling. FOX 10's Jennifer Auh reports.
They say roughly hundreds of thousands in Pennsylvania alone, and 2 million nationwide are missing out. It's called the Family Self Sufficiency program, or FSS for short.
The program currently serves 50 Santa Monica families and 77 low-income households that are served with FSS funding, according to Paul Rubenstein, development director at the St. Joseph Center.
