And just to make sure the roads are safe MCPD will be conducting a sobriety checkpoint at approximately 10 p.m. this evening.

Sobriety checkpoints, where officials look for impaired drivers, are planned for multiple cities across Northeast Ohio Friday, according to state officials.

Officials say the purpose of this checkpoint is to deter impaired driving and prevent serious or fatal crashes.
