The male hummingbird strategically angles itself in front of the sun so that its purple feathers can shimmer, but it probably doesn’t realize it looks like there’s a dang octopus on his head.

The mimic octopus was discovered in 1998 off the coast ... jellyfish, mantis shrimp, feather stars, brittle stars, giant crabs, seahorses, crocodile snake eels, stingrays, and nudibranchs.
