Eléonore, who is the youngest child of King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, donned a smart striped shirt in the new birthday portraits which were released yesterday.

In the first of the new portraits, which were shared on the royal family 's official Instagram page, the 16-year-old sat on the grand staircase at Belgium's Palace of Laeken.
