Finley Ranson, 14, is unable to eat any food due to a condition so rare that doctors said no one else has this same ailment.

His granddaughter-in-law, Kristy Finley, characterized his commitment to service, stating, “He believed you always help someone who needs help.” Dr. Finley died in 2008 at the age of 100.
