The 22nd Annual Dewey Balfa Cajun and Creole Heritage Week is underway in Eunice. This week-long camp immerses participants in Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco cultures.

Balfa Toujours was started by Christine Balfa, daughter of legendary fiddler Dewey Balfa, who was instrumental in the revival of Cajun music and culture, said festival programmer Emily Teachout.
