NYACK — The Rev. Richard Deats, a global peace movement activist and practitioner of non-violent resistance who worked for the Fellowship of Reconciliation in Upper Nyack, died at age 89.

NYACK – The Rev. Richard Deats fought for peace and justice around the world over the years. He’s now fighting for his own recovery after a bad fall resulted in a traumatic brain injury.
