According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, another name has emerged in the sweepstakes. "DeMarlo Hale, Blue Jays associate manager, is a name to watch in the White Sox managerial search," Morosi tweeted.

Atkins added that DeMarlo Hale, who rejoined the franchise ahead of this past season in a defensive co-ordinator role as the associate manager, will remain on the Blue Jays’ staff next season.
