When Will Star Trek Have Another Starfleet Android After Data?
Throughout Star Trek: The Next Generation, Lt. Commander Data (Brent Spiner) was the only android in Starfleet, and that remains true by the end of Star Trek: Picard season 3.
Spiner began playing Data in 1987 when Star Trek: The Next Generation premiered, and by the time of Star Trek: Insurrection, he already felt he was getting too old to portray the android.
