This post will show you how to create an Icon in Paint in Windows 11/10. Microsoft Paint is a basic graphics editing software. It has limited capabilities compared to specialized icon design software.

First, download or create an alternate icon, then open Finder and go to the Applications folder in the left pane. Select any app and press Command-I to open an Info pane.

You can make them vertical, horizontal, or square-shaped, whatever you want. The best of all, no matter how large you make an icon, the quality of the image won’t deteriorate.

But before you read on, you will need to find or make an image for your new app icon. Fortunately, there are plenty of free icons available for download that you can find with a simple search online.

Save the icon in .ico or .png format. Be sure to save your icon in one of these formats to ensure compatibility with most browsers, including Google Chrome and Firefox. Upload the icon to your server.
