An alleged serial arsonist who lit numerous fires during a roughly hour-long blaze of destruction — including next to a sleeping subway rider last month — was nabbed Monday, authorities said.

17-year-old Nicholas Holbrook was arrested and charged in connection with seven arson cases in Chatham County. Two victims of the arsons reported that American flags were among the items burned.
