On May 19, the Abrams Creek, Big Creek, Cosby and Look Rock campgrounds will welcome people back. A few days later, on May 23, the Balsam Mountain campground is also expected to reopen.

Abrams Creek, Big Creek, Balsam Mountain, Cataloochee, Cosby and Look Rock campgrounds are all marked as closed on Recreation.gov. The online reason for the closures says "closure: administration." ...
