Heat your oven to 225℉. Place the foil-wrapped ribs on sheet pan and roast for two hours. Unwrap the ribs, place them back on the pan (meat side up) and roast for another two hours.
Ribs are ready to come out of the oven when the meat is cooked through and tender. To check, pierce them with a sharp knife. There should be little to no resistance.
To finish the ribs in the oven, peel open the top of the foil packets and slather the meat in the barbecue sauce of your choice. Then cook at 400°F for 25 minutes to caramelize the sauce.
