This is a sequel to the 2019 indie sci-fi film Code 8 (watch the trailer), which is actually about people with special powers living in the near future. This next one picks up where that left off.

Code 8 is directed by American filmmaker Jeff Chan, his second feature film following Grace: The Possession and numerous shorts previously. The screenplay is by Chris Pare.
