District prosecutors on Monday upgraded charges against two teens arrested in the fall in connection with the beating death and robbery of local DJ Bryan Smith.

Authorities in Washington, D.C. have arrested two teenage boys, 14 and 16, for a robbery last month that caused the death of beloved DJ Bryan Smith.

Assistant Chief Ramey Kyle explained what happened. According to Kyle, officers found Bryan Smith in the 500 block of T Street Northwest and determined he had been attacked and robbed.
