Aston Martin's Valkyrie Hypercar is set to make its motorsport debut at the Qatar 1812KM on February 28. This will be the first time the V12-powered-road-going hypercar will compete in top-level endurance racing.

In IMSA, Heart of Racing will bring one blue Valkyrie driven by the former Aston Martin GT pairing of Roman de Angelis and Ross Gunn. Both drivers will fill the role of third drivers at Le Mans, with Gunn joining the all-English car with Tincknell and Gamble.

The Valkyrie hypercar will compete at 24 Hours of Le Mans in the FIA World Endurance Championship and in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, where it will race in the 12 Hours of Sebring and the Rolex 24 at Daytona. The Aston Martin is also the first car to compete in both racing series, which speaks to Aston’s competitive ambitions.
