The Apple TV app is coming to Android phones and tablets, right now. Apple has just announced the Android app, and it went live in the Google Play Store at 12 p.m. Pacific, Wednesday, Feb. 12. It means Android users can access Apple TV+ content through phones and tablets, in an app optimized for every screen.

More than eight years after the Apple TV streaming app first came out, the tech giant finally released a version for Google's Android.

After years of waiting, the Apple TV app is finally available natively on Android devices. This version was “built from the ground up” to take advantage of the Android operating system and is currently ready for download from the Google Play Store.
