One near miss was recently averted at New York's busy JFK airport ... They informed Air Traffic Control (ATC) that they had rejected their takeoff due to traffic on the runway.
The summer season sees a surge in air travel, and given the current ATC situation in busy airspace in the New York region, the FAA has decided to reallocate some of Newark’s workload.
