An unnamed reporter for the Russian state media organization TASS joined other handpicked pool reporters in a meeting that saw Zelenskyy ― who is three years into fighting a Russian invasion of his country ― get berated by Trump.

A member of Russia’s state-owned news agency gained access to the Oval Office on Friday to cover President Trump’s sit-down with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky – even as the AP and Reuters were barred from the high-level meeting.

A representative of the Russian state-affiliated TASS was not allowed to cover the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy because the TASS reporter
