Some slippery roads are expected for the Wednesday morning commute. Tim Uhlmann, meteorologist for the National Weather Service Green Bay, said the main precipitation will come in the early morning hours of Wednesday, and that road temperatures will likely not drop significantly, which reduces the chances of icing.

Light rain is expected with a few breaks through the morning hours for La Crosse. However, north of I-90 there are less breaks with light to moderate showers. There is even a small chance of a wintry mix for those areas. Rain will mostly end by 6 am to 8 am. Our low for tonight is 35°.

GREEN BAY – A wintry mix could impact the Wednesday morning commute, according to the National Weather Service Green Bay. Light rain, drizzle and freezing rain are expected to start midnight Tuesday and will continue on-and-off until 6 p.m. Wednesday. Around 0.5 inch of accumulated snow is expected in Green Bay during that time frame.

Meteorologist Mike Haddad says light snow will fall overnight for many, with spotty showers continuing Saturday.
