Spain’s 'Temptation Island' has gone global thanks to the viral “Montoya for favor” video, which has been used in numerous memes.

A Spanish-language clip of a man running down the beach as host Sandra Barneda screams his name, Montoya, pleading for him to return made the rounds on social media this past week. Despite the language barrier, even Black Twitter has united to mock the moment.

José Carlos Montoya, a participant in La Isla de las Tentaciones or Temptation Island: Spain, has gained attention following a viral moment from the show.

Matters, however, soon get much worse when host Sandra Barneda takes Montoya out of the resort to show him the steamy scenes unfolding across the beach. He watches in pain and devastation as Anita and Manuel kiss, eventually turning the lights off and getting under the covers. He is inconsolable, pulling his hair and howling.

“Por favor Montoya, por favor!” originates from the eighth season of Spanish language reality television show La Isla de las Tentaciones — the Spanish version of Temptation Island — where in episode three, contestant José Carlos Montoya witnesses his girlfriend Anita Williams sleeping with another contestant via video feed.

The presenter who watched the whole thing unfold was repeatedly shouting: "Montoya, Por Favor!" which translates to: "Montoya, please (come back)." Unfortunately for him, the camera cut back to Manuel and Anita in the bedroom and the pair looked to be having sex.
