Ivory Coast’s main opposition party will hit the streets next month to protest the disqualification of its candidate, the former Credit Suisse Chief Executive Officer Tidjane Thiam, from running for president in elections scheduled for this year.

An Ivory Coast court ruled Tuesday that Tidjane Thiam, a former CEO of Credit Suisse, is ineligible to run for president because of his dual Ivorian-French nationality, according to a lawyer representing him.
