Firefly Aerospace’s Blue Ghost commercial lander has gone dark on the moon as planned, but not before sending back spectacular views of the lunar sunset

Blue Ghost, a private lunar lander from Austin-based Firefly, captured the first high-definition sunset pictures from the moon before it fell silent.

A lunar lander has completed its two-week mission and sent spectacular sunset images as a "final goodbye" back to Earth. The Blue Ghost Mission 1 lander was launched by Firefly Aerospace in mid-January and landed on the moon on March 2.
