So anyone can drive themselves to the park entrance and then wait to join the main group to hike up Santa Ana which leaves around 11am? I'm planning to rent a car while I'm in El Salvador but I hadn't seen many posts from people driving themselves to make this hike, only taking buses from the town of Santa Ana.
A:
Yes you can! We met people that did this! The thing is its so much cheaper to take the bus- the only benefit is not having to leave so early in the morning if you drive.
