Absolutely gorgeous theater. Can be a little tricky to find ticket booth/sales booth but it is on the side between vendors. Such a gorgeous building and the interior was even more so. I hope that we … Full review by akwreid

You can find many events advertised on the Teatro Juárez Facebook page (search for "teatro juárez guanajuato facebook"), but my impression is that not all performances are advertised. If you will be in Guanajuato during the Cervantino International Arts Festival (October 10-28, 2018) you can find listings at the Cervantino web site (search for "cervantino 2018") to find a web site with festivalcervantino.gob.mx in the address. Just browse through the performances looking for Teatro Juárez. Don't be discouraged if the Cervantino performances are sold out--we showed up an hour early in front of the theater seeking tickets for Concerto Köln from people in the crowd and ran into a student who gave his extra tickets to us for free! The Mexican people are very very friendly and generous. It was a wonderful experience. You could also try calling the box office (if you speak some Spanish) at +52 473 732 2521. Have a wonderful visit!
